Race description
TEC 200 miles is a challenging ultramarathon held in Tyresö, with start and turnaround at Alby Friluftsgård. The course is a 11.5 km loop offering hilly terrain, technical trails, and beautiful views of Lake Albysjön, Tyresta Nature Reserve, and Tyresö-Flaten. The race is part of the Tyresö Extreme Challenge, which offers several distances including Backyard Ultra, MiniUltra 46 km, 50 miles, and 100 miles. It is a race that combines tough challenges with a wonderful community and positive energy among runners and volunteers.

Start and turnaround are at Alby Friluftsgård in Tyresö. The course is marked with orange reflective ribbons spaced 20-70 meters apart. Runners pass a tent with a buffet and volunteers at the turnaround, but are advised not to stay too long. The race takes place all weekend with multiple distances, and the start time for 200 miles is at 10:00 on race day. The event is held in mid-April and may require endurance in difficult weather conditions, including icy or cold conditions early in the season.
