TCS Lidingöloppet (Lidingöloppshelgen)

TCS Lidingöloppet is the world's largest cross-country race, held on the last weekend of September on Lidingö. The weekend offers events for all levels - from toddler races of 1.7 km to the classic 30 km race - and attracts over 30,000 runners to its scenic, hilly courses. The event is both a competitive challenge and a running festival with a Sports Fair where you can pick up your bib and meet exhibitors. The natural surroundings and soft trails are the hallmark of the race.

All finishers receive the TCS Lidingöloppet bronze medal with a unique Carl Milles motif each year; a silver medal is available if you meet the silver time and started in start group 2 or lower. A diploma is provided as a PDF in the results email (a paper diploma can be ordered for 50 SEK including shipping). Enervit offers fueling service along the course (product stations for a fee). Minimum age: 30 km = 17 years, 15 km = 15 years (several other age limits apply for different races). The Sports Fair is used for bib distribution and exhibitors. Environmentally friendly travel options include free buses from Ropsten to Lidingövallen, running buses from several locations in central Sweden, bike parking, and carpooling. Limited access and few parking options during the race. Seeding race before the weekend: Vårmilen can be purchased as a seeding race (price 100 - 200 SEK).
