Stockholms Brantaste

Stockholms Brantaste is an intense uphill race in Hammarbybacken scheduled for October 17, 2026. The race is just over 3 - 3.5 km long with steep inclines and over 200 meters of elevation gain, suitable for both experienced runners and beginners looking to challenge themselves. The finish line is at the top of the hill with a beautiful view of the city. The children's races Brantaste Mini and Brantaste Minsta are also offered, but registration for these may be closed at certain times.

Start bibs are sent via email (usually about 2 weeks before the race or sooner if registering late). Number bib distribution takes place at the event area Hammarby Fabriksväg (details in the information text) and opens from 09:30 according to participant information. The bib contains a chip and should be worn unfolded at 45 - 90°; attach with safety pins (bring about 4) and write name/phone number and medical info on the back. The race includes timing, a medal, and water stations; in the children's races, water is available at the finish and medals are awarded. Registration for Brantaste Mini and Brantaste Minsta may be closed at certain times. Free uphill training sessions in Hammarbybacken are available before the race day.
