TCS Lidingöloppet

TCS Lidingöloppet is the world's largest cross-country race and a folk festival held on the last weekend of September in Lidingö. Since 1965, runners of all levels gather—from children’s 1.7 km to the classic 30 km race—to face hilly, scenic courses. The weekend includes several races, a sports fair where you pick up your bib and find running inspiration, as well as a strong focus on nature and running experiences. The sports fair is the place for bib pickup and exhibitors. A bronze medal is awarded to all finishers (annually featuring a unique Carl Milles motif) and a silver medal can be exchanged if you have achieved silver medal times in the correct start group. Diplomas are available as free PDFs in the results email; paper diplomas can be ordered during registration for 50 SEK including shipping. Minimum ages are specified per race (e.g., 30 km: 17 years, 15 km: 15 years). Enervit offers fueling stations/energy depots along the course. Veteran clubs and annual awards are available for recurring participants. Historical results and statistics are stored in the Lidingöloppet archive (from 1965), and in 2024 a new team competition format was introduced where teams consist of multiple runners for each distance.
