Lejonbragden

Race description

The race takes place on an 8-shaped 10km course, mostly paved bike and walking paths, where you pass the aid station every 5km. This is Sweden's oldest 100km race! In addition to the 100, 50, and 30km events, there is also a DUO class where two runners share the 100km as they see fit, in a relay format.

Highlights

  • The Lion Achievement is Sweden's first ultramarathon at 100 km and laid the foundation for ultradistance running in Sweden.
  • The legendary Swedish ultrarunner Rune Larsson set his personal record in the 100 km here in 1986.
  • The race has a social dimension with the popular 100 km DUO competition, where participants can run together with a friend.
