Backyard Ultra Vänge

Backyard Ultra Vänge is a unique ultramarathon event organized by Hagunda IF where participants run a 6.7 km lap every full hour until only one runner remains. The race is held in Vänge, about 7 km outside Uppsala along national road 72, combining challenging terrain with natural surroundings and strong community. There is also a team competition with a point system that rewards fair median times and larger teams; registration opens on September 18th and the upcoming race is planned for May 23, 2026.
