KK-joggen / Sparbanksjoggen, Katrineholm

Sparbanksjoggen in Katrineholm is one of Sweden's leading recreational races and Katrineholm's largest sporting event with approximately 1500 participants and up to 8000 spectators. The race offers categories for both elite and recreational runners, with distances from 1.1 km for children to 10 km for adults. It is a well-organized running festival with prizes, medals, and T-shirts for all participants, and a friendly atmosphere with lots of spectators and officials. The race is sanctioned by the Swedish Athletics Association and follows their competition rules for children and youth.

Number bib and T-shirt are collected at the race office in Magasinet next to the Travel Center, Fabriksgatan 1, Katrineholm. The race office is open on August 4th from 12:00 to 18:00 and on August 5th from 11:00 to 21:00. After the finish, medals, chocolate bars, and bananas are handed out to all who complete the race. Prize money is awarded in the 10 km race to the top eight men and women as training grants to their athletics clubs. Sibling discounts and group registration with discounts are available. The race follows the Swedish Athletics Association's rules and is sanctioned. The race takes place on August 11, 2026, with registration at Magasinet near the Travel Center in Katrineholm. The event is a celebration for the entire municipality and attracts thousands of spectators and participants.
