Häv och Gräv Vikbovändan 2026

Häv & Gräv Vikbovändan is a summer race on Vikbolandet in Östergötland where participants can choose to run or cycle. The main route is approximately 45 km long and largely runs on country roads and gravel (about 50/50), with several energy stations and tastings from local farms along the way. There are categories for runners, cyclists, duos, and children, and the event has a clear focus on local producers and a genuine farm environment. Registered participants receive a foldable cup (reusable mug) to bring during the race to avoid disposable cups.

Limited number of participants in the main race (300). Online registration is open until August 4; late registration can be done from 09:00 at the start area until 30 minutes before each start signal (if spots are available). Registered participants receive a foldable cup that must be used during the race. The children's race (approximately 700 m or 1,400 m) does not require prior registration and is free of charge thanks to ICA's sponsorship (children receive a medal and ice cream). Toilets and showers are available at APPTEK's premises (open approximately 09:30 - 18:30). The running category has timing and prizes for the top three in both women’s and men’s categories; cycling and duo categories have specific rules (helmet mandatory, e-bike not allowed, duo pairs can exchange unlimited times but must keep a maximum distance of 100 m). Group warm-up before start. Energy stations with water and sports drinks; registered participants receive a foldable cup; medals for all; not sanctioned by the Swedish Athletics Association; helmet mandatory when cycling; start/finish in a trail environment with lighting; medical staff present; rules regarding image rights.
