Västervik City Run

Västervik City Run is an urban race of 6.2 km in and around Västervik city center, starting and finishing at Grönsaks- och Fiskartorget. The course consists of two approximately 3 km loops with a turn at Fiskaretorget. The race has been held since 2011 and is traditionally run on the Monday of week 28, starting at 20:00. The race is well established in Västervik and attracts runners of various ages.

The Kids Race (Sparbanksloppet) is a children’s race of 800 meters for kids up to 10 years old, with a common start from Fiskaretorget at 18:30; the start for the kids race is at the level of Stegeholms castle ruins at the sun deck and Myntbryggan, following the cycle path along Gamlebyviken to the finish at Grönsakstorget. After the finish, participants in the kids race receive a medal. Bib pickup at ICA Maxi or the race secretariat; pre-registration closes on July 3rd at 16:00; registration on race day from 13:00 to 19:00.
