Taifspelen

Taifspelen is an athletics competition organized by Tranås AIF FIF at Bredstorps IP, also known as Siw Dahlgren Arena. The event is held on the last Sunday of September and is open to participants from 7 years old up to adults. It is often the last chance of the season to set a personal record, and the event attracts many participants, making it a popular and well-attended competition in the region.

The timetable is published on easyrecord.se and is also available for download. The goal is to minimize conflicts between competitions, but some overlaps may occur. Veterans participate but there are limitations in veteran classes. The arena honors volunteer leaders through the unofficial name Siw Dahlgren Arena. The competition takes place at Bredstorps IP, focusing on creating an inclusive and inspiring competitive environment for all participants. It is an opportunity to challenge oneself and participate in a friendly athletics weekend.
