Sandbäckens Norrköpingsstafetten

Sandbäckens Norrköpingsstafetten takes place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, in Folkparken in Norrköping. Four people form a team and take turns walking, jogging, or running a lively 4 km stretch each. There are categories with and without timing, and the race is marketed as an accessible and festive relay race for recreational runners and teams. Thanks to HSB, children and youth participate completely free of charge, and there is special information for schools.

Children and youth participate free of charge thanks to HSB; schools are encouraged to register (contact for schools: mikael.grip@lopparrangoren.se). The organizer offers the possibility to rent tents and event decorations via Rent a Tent (booking deadline for guaranteed access: May 5, contact norrkoping@rentatent.se). Start, exchange, and finish are gathered in the park, creating a good atmosphere for spectators and events. The team consists of four participants; a picnic bag from ICA Kvantum Mirum Galleria and a medal after finishing are mentioned in the event communication. Over 700 participants and about 180 teams participated in previous years; youth and students participate free of charge thanks to sponsorships from HSB and Fiskeby.
