Ottsjö 12k

Ottsjö 12K is a 12 km mountain race with approximately 300 meters of elevation gain, offering a beautiful but challenging course in mountain terrain. The race is an alternative for those who want to experience the mountain landscape without tackling the full distance or the Salomon 27K. The course starts in Ottsjö, heading up towards Petterfjället and Kläpphögarnas shelter, continues along the plateau trail past Platåkåtan, and finishes down through the village along Ottsjön to the finish on the meadows in Ottsjö. The organizer offers a family option (children 10-13 years run with an adult for 200 SEK) and youth aged 14-18 pay half the registration fee.

Start times are scheduled for 26/7 at 13:00 and 1/8 at 10:30. Possibility to run with children aged 10-13 for 200 SEK; age limit otherwise 14 years. Youths aged 14-18 pay half the registration fee. Electronic chip timing, food and water stations with local delicacies, a kåsa (cup) is used at mug-free stations.
