Ölands Kyrkstafett

Öland's Parish Relay is a classic long-distance relay race held for the 47th time, offering a fantastic running experience on a spring-blooming Öland. The start and finish are in Färjestaden, and the race is available in two variants: a longer course with eleven legs totaling 67.5 km and a shorter course with six legs totaling 23.5 km. The race welcomes both dedicated runners and beginners, with legs suitable for all levels. Organizers Högby IF and Ölands idrottskrets aim to provide the best possible service with officials, a commentator, and individual timing.

Number bib pickup takes place on May 8th from 15:00 to 17:00 and on race day May 9th from 08:00 to 09:30 at Hamngrillen in Färjestaden. Changing rooms and showers are available at the sports hall 200 meters north of Ölands Köpstad. Wellness Studio hosts a group warm-up before the start. Officials are present on the course, at exchanges, as well as at the start and finish. Individual segment times, intermediate times, and team finish times are provided. The commentator follows the lead race from start to finish. Running on Öland, two course lengths, team categories, medals, grill plates, GPX files, changing/shower facilities, food/accommodation are offered.
