Öland Lighthouse Challenge

Öland Lighthouse Challenge is an ultramarathon on Öland starting at the Långe Erik lighthouse. The race is offered in three distances - 50 km, 50 miles, and 100 miles - and runs along coastal areas, meadows, and forested regions with views of the alvar and the Baltic Sea. The race is well-organized with water stations and energy depots along the course; medals and shirts are awarded to all finishers. The organizer is Högby IF, and the event is suitable for both experienced ultrarunners and long-distance trained recreational runners.
