Blodomloppet (Jönköping)

Welcome to the Blood Race in Jönköping - a recreational race to raise awareness of the need for blood donation where you can walk, jog, or run. In Jönköping, timed races are offered at 5 km and 10 km, as well as a 5 km walk without timing. For children, there is the Little Blood Race (approximately 700 meters) which has a common start and medal. The race gathers participants in teams and traditionally ends with a picnic.

Team registration consists of 3 - 5 participants; registered blood donors receive a 40 SEK discount if indicated at registration. Changes (e.g., from 10 km to 5 km) cost 50 SEK upon modification and presenting the order ID during pickup; on the day of the race (August 11), only Swish or cash payment are accepted. Payment terms are otherwise 30 days with multiple options (Swish, card via Swedbank Pay, postal giro, invoice). Team registration and individual registrations have different prices; discounts for blood donors and a fee for invoice. Bib numbers are collected at Hovslätts IK's clubhouse or at the start, and the award ceremony takes place at 19:30.
