Vårruset Vänersborg

VårRuset in Vänersborg is a fun run for women offering distances of 2.5 km and 5 km on a certified course. The event is characterized by joy of movement and camaraderie and welcomes participants regardless of training background or level of ambition. After crossing the finish line, teams consisting of five people are invited to a picnic, creating a wonderful spring evening together. The event starts and ends at Sanden in Vänersborg and offers a medal, finish bag, timing (optional), and bib number to all participants.

Number bib distribution takes place at Intersport Överby in Trollhättan in the days before the race. It is possible to opt out of timing during registration. Picnic pickup is done with the team leader's bib number. The recommended age is 13 years for 5 km and 11 years for 2.5 km, younger with adult supervision. The event area is easily accessible by public transport and free parking is available at Sanden. Teams consist of 5 people and everyone can run different distances. The event is part of Sweden's largest women's fitness series, focusing on community, joy of movement, and health. Participants can choose to have timing or run without, and there are officials, music, and entertainment along the course.
