Race description
Värmlandsstafetten in Karlstad is a two-hour relay race where teams of 5 to 15 participants pass a baton around Sundstatjärn on a flat lap course approximately 1,270 to 1,300 meters long. The race starts at 6:00 PM with the goal of transporting the baton to the finish within two hours at the arena in Karlstad, with start and finish at the arena. Teams decide how many laps each person runs and switch after each lap; in the first year, a logo relay baton is purchased that follows the team each year.
