Strömstadmilen

The Strömstad Mile is organized by Strömstad Running Club and takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The race offers runner-friendly distances through the center of Strömstad when Bohuslän is at its most beautiful, with the course lined by dense spectator areas. The main course is an exactly measured 5 km loop that can be run once or twice (5 km or 10 km); start and finish are at Strömsvallen. Everyone is welcome - there are also children's classes and a walking class for those who want to experience the race without timing.

Number bib distribution and late registration: Friday, July 3 from 15:00 to 18:00 at Strömstad Shopping Center and on race day from 09:30 at Strömsvallen. The T-shirt can be pre-ordered with registration by June 7 (199 SEK) and picked up with the bib; sizes for children and adults are available. Timing ends at 16:45. Limited parking spaces at Strömsvallen; alternative parking at Strömstad Gymnasium (~500 m). Everyone who finishes receives a specially designed medal; photographers are along the course and a selection of images will be published on Facebook/Instagram after the race. A new walking class approximately 3 km along Strömstadvattnet; start and finish at the Open-Air Museum/Fiskartorpet; start time 11:00; distances include 10 km as two laps of 5 km, 5 km, 4 km walk, 10 miles for youth, and 1 km for the youngest children; bibs and late registration via Strömstad Shopping Center or Strömsvallen; T-shirt, medal, award ceremony, parking, and other logistics.
