Strömstadmilen

Strömstadmilen is organized by Strömstad Running Club and takes place on Saturday, 4 July 2026. The race offers runner-friendly distances through central Strömstad at the most beautiful time of year in Bohuslän, with the course lined by enthusiastic crowds. The main course is an accurately measured 5 km loop that can be run once or twice (5 km or 10 km); the start and finish are inside Strömsvallen. Everyone is welcome—there are also children’s races and a walking class for those who want to enjoy the event without timekeeping.

Bib pickup and late registration: Friday 3 July, 15:00–18:00 at Strömstad Shoppingcenter, and from 09:30 on race day at Strömsvallen. T-shirts can be pre-ordered when registering by 7 June (199 kr) and collected with the race bib; sizes are available for children and adults. Timekeeping ends at 16:45. Parking at Strömsvallen is limited; alternative parking is available at Strömstad Gymnasium (~500 m away). Everyone who finishes receives a specially designed medal; photographers will be along the course, and a selection of photos will be posted on Facebook/Instagram after the race. New walking class, approximately 3 km along Strömstadvattnet; start and finish at Friluftsmuseet/Fiskartorpet; start time 11:00; distances include 10 km as two laps of 5 km, 5 km, a 4 km walk, 1 mil for youths and 1 km for the youngest children; bib pickup and late registration via Strömstad Shoppingcenter or Strömsvallen; T-shirt, medal, awards ceremony, parking and other logistics.
