Race description
The first edition of Sandviken Half Marathon, be part of making history! 21.1 km around Sandviken, along meadows, lakes, and beautiful residential areas. The course has an elevation change of only 74 meters, with start and finish in Stadsparken Sandviken where there will be activities for the whole family.
Highlights
- Mostly flat course with a total elevation gain of 74 meters and some gentle hills
- Passes the shore of Lake Storsjön and several historic neighborhoods (Barrsätra, Sätra, Stensätra, Säljan, Örta)
- Combination of city streets and forested areas; water stations approximately every 4-5 km
