Race description
RUN MALMÖ is a new city race on June 14, 2026, featuring two distances: half marathon (21K) and 10K, with a shared start and finish area in Dockan/Varvsstaden. The courses are flat and fast, taking you through four distinct zones - from city vibes and parks to the quay and sea breeze at Västra hamnen with views of Turning Torso. The race suits both those chasing personal bests and those wanting to experience Malmö together with spectators and running joy. Organized by Malmö Allmänna Idrottsförening (MAI).

Additional information
Registration opens on November 25, 2025, and runners can also register via Epassi (welfare/health benefit). Start times: 10K first wave at 10:00 (last at 10:12), 21K first wave at 10:40 (last at 10:56). Maximum time: 10K 90 minutes, 21K 3 hours. There is a cutoff at 3.5 km for the 10K where runners must pass within 32 minutes after the last start wave. Services include water and sports drink stations from Umara, medical services, medals/fruits/drinks at the finish, and toilets along the course. Distance changes are possible for an administration fee of 95 SEK (and upgrading from 10K to 21K requires paying the difference). Corporate packages are available with gathering tents, group training, and example prices for tents: 25 people 15,000 SEK, 50 people 25,000 SEK, 75 people 35,000 SEK. The distances are 21K and 10K; Epassi wellness reimbursement is accepted as a payment option.
