The Riddarsprånget is a spring race that takes place in Hova on the Monday during knight week. The competition has been organized since the beginning of time and annually attracts between 300-400 runners who are divided into 29 classes, with ages ranging from 2 to over 80 years. The shortest race garners the most interest, but in terms of status, the fastest man and woman in the 10 km category are at the top. The running takes place almost exclusively on the streets of Hova, where the 10 km classes run two laps on a 5 km course.
