PRB (Växjö)

PRB is a Backyard Ultra event in Växjö that will be held as a Silver Ticket event in 2026. Participants run a lap of 6,706 meters starting every full hour; the first start is at 10:00 AM, and the race follows last-man-standing rules according to general Backyard Ultra principles. The course is varied and easy to run, with both asphalt and gravel/trail sections to enable participants to stay as long as possible. The laps and finish line are at the southern shore of Trummen, with services in the lap area for runners and accompanying persons.

The organizer offers an energy table in the lap area with sports drinks (Umara), water, Coca Cola, coffee, candy, chips, and fruit; cooked food is served every six hours, with the first serving after four hours. Completing at least one lap earns a medal from Yoga Wood and a Finisher Beer from Tomorrow Brewing. Participants may set up small tents and chairs in the lap area. The nearest bus stop is Trummenvägen (line 3), and the recommended parking lot is at Ica Kvantum Teleborg (fee approximately 10 SEK per day). Participants who choose to withdraw must notify the race management to receive a result; they are not allowed to pass the start line and turn back (the course is one-way), but they can cross the line to change clothes, eat, or use the toilet. Energy and drink stations with sports drinks, water, cola, coffee, candy, chips, and fruit are available; food is served every six hours (starting after four hours). A medal is awarded for completing at least one lap, and a Finisher Beer awaits at the finish line. The race is accessible by public transport and parking regulations are in effect.
