Race description

The New Year's Race is a perfect way to get some exercise during the holiday season. This is the 42nd time Vallentuna Athletics invites everyone to run on New Year's Eve, and the race attracts everyone from elite runners to those who prefer a more leisurely pace. A winter race can present challenging terrain or fast asphalt, but we won’t know until race day. Keep an eye on the weather forecasts and read our information. Statistically, the conditions have been favorable for running in most years, as reflected in the results from previous years. Above all, the New Year's Race is a nice way to come together for a farewell to the old year and something to talk about during the celebrations later in the day. Welcome to you too, see you there!
