Race description

For the 43rd time, Vallentuna Athletics invites everyone from elite athletes to enthusiastic joggers and children to participate in a winter race on our streets and squares in central Vallentuna. You might encounter challenging ice, slushy snow, delightful winter crispness, or a fast asphalt track awaiting those who participate and watch. The New Year's Race is a lovely opportunity to be a bit active before the New Year's meal is served and the year is summed up. And as some say; "how you spend New Year's Eve is how the rest of the year will be!" So take the chance to be active, bring a friend, and run or jog the course.

Highlights

  • All children participate completely free of charge in the Jumpyard Little New Year’s Race!
  • The distances were five or ten kilometers for those over 10 years old.
  • The competition also raised money for the Sepsis Foundation.
