On the night of July 12, 2025, the Nordansjö Night Ultra will premiere, a 60 km ultramarathon in Norberg that we believe will become Sweden's fastest night ultra. The race offers a significant nighttime challenge on a seemingly "flat" course, which will nonetheless test your entire soul before the night transitions into early morning. The Nordansjö Night Ultra is the perfect preparation for the late summer and autumn ultramarathons, and an excellent way to test your form and achieve a new personal best. The course consists of five loops of 12 km each, with Håberget as the highest point of the route.
Highlights
- The race is aimed at those who want a serious nighttime challenge on a seemingly "flat" course that will, however, take its toll.
- There is plenty of time (the maximum time is 10 hours) to complete the Night Ultra, which welcomes runners regardless of their ability or previous experience with long-distance races.
- The course is easy to run but challenging, as the runners will run up Håberget from the wrong direction (clockwise) no less than five times.
