Midnattsloppet

Midnattsloppet Malmö is a festive, high-energy running experience taking place on 29 August 2026. Choose between running 5 km or 10 km in the heart of the city, with the start and finish at Stortorget. The race is known for its late start time, carnival atmosphere and the unique sense of community among runners, spectators and event staff. Midnattsloppet is more than a race—it’s a people’s festival and a memory for life.

Start times: 10 km starts at 21:00, and 5 km starts at 22:00. Start and finish at Stortorget. The entry fee includes a Björn Borg T-shirt, precise timekeeping, energy drinks along the course, a bar/fruit after the finish and a digital certificate. Registration through wellness benefit providers (Benifex, Epassi, Benefits) is available. Team and corporate competitions are offered. The time limit for the 10 km is 90 minutes, with a cutoff at 6.6 km at 22:26. The race starts at 22:00 at Stortorget in Malmö and includes a race kit, T-shirt, digital certificate, medal (available for purchase) and energy products and fruit along the course.
