The Kretsloppet in Borås is one of the city's most well-attended folk festivals that makes the entire city bubble with life and movement. An important event for Borås as a city that engages families, businesses, associations, cheering spectators, and surrounding shops, restaurants, and cafés. Since its inception in 2009, Kretsloppet has had a clear environmental focus and has been an environmentally certified event according to "Keep Sweden Tidy." Kretsloppet is a running festival with a strong environmental profile where the environmental efforts in Borås are highlighted. There is a continuous improvement process where we reassess all aspects of the event and initiatives being implemented. Registration will open on April 15, and this year we have several new features to present! We warmly welcome everyone to the Running Festival on September 13, 2025, with distances for the whole family!
Highlights
- Welcome to the running festival in Borås! This year's biggest news is that we will be doing LIVEPRINT of bib numbers, which means you can have your name on the bib at registration all the way up to race day. Registration closes 30 minutes before the start.
- This year's medal can be pre-ordered as well as purchased on-site until the medals run out. Another new feature is the PDF Diploma, which you can find under your results and print out yourself. The diploma is personalized and free of charge.
- Selfie time at the finish line! This year, you will find a selfie booth at the finish line where you scan your chip, which then displays your name and results. We will have a photographer on site to assist with selfies. We would love for you to share your pictures on social media.
- Live results! See your results directly on your phone. A link to the results list will be published on the Kretsloppet website before the race. You can also download the Mika Timing app to view all results live.
- Gift cards! Another new feature for this year is that you can purchase an entry for the 5km and 10km in the form of a digital gift card to give as a present. More information about the gift card can be found on the Kretsloppet website.
