Race description
Kistaloppet is a family-friendly city-based running event organized by Löparakademin with races for all ages: Kistaloppet 5 km, Lilla Kistaloppet/Fun Run 1.6 km, and Kistaloppet MINI for the youngest participants. The courses offer a varied running experience through the high-rise buildings of the Million Programme, the green areas of Järvafältet, and Kista's IT cluster, with start and finish at Jan Stenbecks torg near Kista Galleria. The event emphasizes accessibility and community (including the #RUN4ZERO initiative) and is designed for both recreational runners and those who want to compete on the controlled 5 km course. The event is usually complemented by music, entertainment, and a festival atmosphere along the route.

Registration is free and includes a medal; registration is open until September 17 (subject to availability). Bib distribution at the competition center in Kista Galleria (opposite McDonald's): Friday, September 19, 12:00 - 18:00 and Saturday, September 20, 09:15 - 13:00 (bib must be picked up at least 30 minutes before start). Water stations are available at the finish line; medical personnel are on site. Only the adult class (Kistaloppet 5K) has official timing; other races, including Fun Run, are non-timed. Volunteers are expected to be available approximately 09:00 - 15:30. Races for the whole family: 5K, LILLA Kistaloppet, Kistaloppet MINI, and Fun Run; registration is free; Lilla Kistaloppet is approximately 1.6 km and MINI 500 m; medals are awarded to all finishers of Lilla Kistaloppet; start times and bib pickup at Kista Galleria.
