Karlstad Stadslopp

Karlstad City Run is a popular 10 km race in Karlstad with options for all runners - from those chasing personal bests to those wanting to enjoy the camaraderie along the Klarälven. The event offers the classic 10 km, a shorter 5 km, as well as Karlstad Mini Race and Mini Mini Race for younger participants. The race starts from Tingvallabron and finishes in Museiparken; the 2026 edition inaugurates the Swedish Championships week and will be broadcast on SVT. The organizer IF Göta Karlstad welcomes participants of all ages and experience levels.

When registering, an estimated running time is provided for seeding; youth born in 2008 or later and students receive a 100 SEK discount during certain periods; team competition is offered for the 10 km (minimum six participants per team) - contact tavling@ifgota.se for team registration; payment via PlusGiro (47 37 91-2) with instructions for class and name; gift cards can be purchased via PG and notified to info@ifgota.se; participant information (PM) is sent via email and published on the website; After Run and concert in Museiparken are included in the Swedish Championships week opening; the race is part of the Swedish Championships week 2026 and will be broadcast on SVT. The race offers 10 km and 5 km as well as Karlstad Mini Race (ages 7-12) and Mini Mini Race (ages 0-6). Age limit 12 years; dogs are not allowed; walking with strollers or rollators can start in the last start group; participation at own risk; no refund of registration fee; image publication is permitted on websites and social media.
