Race description
John Bauer Trail Run is a challenging and quite hilly cross-country race held in Huskvarna, near Lake Vättern. The race offers several distances for both adults and children, including 18 km, 10 km, 5 km, as well as children and youth classes. The courses go partly on trails and partly on unpaved terrain, with demanding hills such as Strutsabacken where the Bergatrollet title is awarded to the fastest runner uphill. The event is family-friendly with changing rooms, showers, catering, and security personnel along the course.

Additional information
Number bibs with chips are collected on race day no later than 11:15 and must be worn visibly on the front of the shirt. Timing is done with a chip and provides both total time and uphill time at Strutsabacken. Water stations are available at various distances with water, sports drinks, and bananas. Changing rooms, showers, and toilets are available in the IKHP cabin. Valuables can be left and picked up at the bib distribution. Security personnel and Red Cross medical staff are present. Children and youth classes start at 10:45, adult classes at 11:30, and the 400m toddler run has free start times between 10:00 and 12:00. Trail race with hilly terrain, on-site registration, medals for all participants, prizes for top finishers and Bergatrollet, safety measures including medical support.
