The Gothenburg Marathon starts and finishes at the historic Slottsskogsvallen, and the runners race on a flat and straight out-and-back course, where marathon runners complete two laps. The race takes you through the festival-vibrant Slottsskogen, along the beautiful quays of Hisingen, and past the pulsating energy of Avenyn. You cross two bridges with stunning views of the archipelago and the city's harbor, finishing at the historic arena. With over 50 music stations along the route and a cheering crowd of over 200,000 spectators, you will feel the energy throughout the race.
