Cityvarvet

Cityvarvet is a shorter version of the Göteborgsvarvet, measuring 4.3 km, starting at Götaplatsen and taking you along Avenyn to a grand finish at Slottsskogsvallen. The race is a festival with lots of spectators, music, and cheer stations along the route, suitable for beginners, fast runners, and families. We recommend that children up to 13 years run together with an adult. As a runner, you will have access to the Runner Zone at the finish for recovery, snacks, and drinks.

Distance 4.3 km. Max 1500 registered participants. Registration open until 12:00 on race day (2026-05-23). Bib number pickup and race packet: Thursday - Saturday, May 21-23 at Göteborgsvarvet Expo in Friidrottens Hus (Thursday 11:00 - 20:30, Friday 10:00 - 21:00, Saturday from 09:00). Two water stations along the route. Recommendation that children up to 13 years run together with an adult. Max 1500 participants; start time 13:00; bib pickup at Expo (Friidrottens Hus); baggage storage at start until 12:30; water stations along the route; electronic chip timing; maximum time approximately 50 minutes; information about transportation and expo available on the race info page; no changing facilities provided.
