Race description
Bysjöloppet is a popular race at Bysjön in Åtvidaberg, organized by Åtvidabergs IF since 1983. The courses are varied with asphalt, gravel roads, and forest trails, starting and finishing at Edbergavallen, and offer distances for both children and adults. The race is traditionally held on the second Saturday in September and welcomes both recreational and competitive runners and teams.

Registration is done via the link to the registration system; payment by Swish or bank transfer (discount codes available online). Bibs can be collected from 10:00 on race day at Edbergavallen; late registration on site from 10:00 (Swish or cash). Distance info: 700 m (children, no timing), 1.3 km (children, with timing), 5 km (measured 5.0 km, mixed asphalt/gravel), and 10 km (measured 10.0 km, mixed asphalt/trail/gravel, hilly). All finishers receive a medal; a special commemorative medal is awarded upon completing the 10th or 20th race (adult categories). Team registration (4 - 6 participants) includes a picnic basket for 5 people; team registration may close on September 7 if baskets are sold out. A kiosk is available at the race area. Award ceremony around 12:00 for the 1.3 km and around 14:00 for the 5 km and 10 km. Distances: 1.3 km, 5 km, and 10 km; all finishers receive a medal; additional commemorative medal available at the 10th or 20th race for adults; team registration for 4 - 6 participants; bib pickup at Edbergavallen; ICA picnic basket after finish; kiosks at the race area; prize distribution according to the prize table. Preparatory activities include a running workshop and open group interval training before the race.
