Bunketorp Backyard Ultra Trail

Bunketorp Backyard Ultra Trail is a “last-man-standing” race in Backyard Ultra format, where participants run a 6,706-metre lap every hour on the hour until only one runner remains. The course in Bunketorp, Lindome (south of Gothenburg), runs entirely through woodland on well-trodden trails, with no asphalt or gravel, and features varied, hilly terrain. The race is organised by IK Uven and has a personal, family-friendly setup with good facilities for both runners and accompanying guests. The 2026 race starts on Saturday, 8 August 2026 at 10:00.

The organiser provides changing rooms with showers and a sauna, at least seven toilets (including portable toilets), 3–5 participant tents, and space for personal tents. The race office handles bibs, valuables storage and results; a staffed aid station is available throughout the race, and simple refreshments are sold to spectators. First aid supplies and a defibrillator are available at the venue (there is no trained medical staff). There is no age limit; participation is at the participant’s own risk. Race rules: laps are one-way, participants must be in the starting corral at every hourly start and must inform the race office if they withdraw. Prizes are awarded to the top three women, the top three men and the best team (3 runners). Participants start every hour and must complete a lap within the hour; 6,706 m per lap; 120 starting places; Silver Ticket for 2026; results reported to DUV; aid station, drinks, hot food at certain times, changing facilities, toilets, showers and sauna.
