Race description
Borås 6-hour is an annual timed race organized by SOK Knallen where participants run as far as possible on a 1892-meter loop around Byttorpssjön in Borås. The course is almost completely flat and mostly consists of packed gravel with a short asphalt section, making it easy to run. During the race, there is a refreshment station with drinks and simple food at the lap point, and the goal is to have fun and challenge oneself over six hours. After finishing, medals are awarded and a prize ceremony is held for the top runners. The start is at 10:00 at Byttorps IP with changing and bib number distribution in the clubhouse.

Additional information
Bib number can be collected on race day from 08:00 to 09:30 or the day before between 17:00-19:00. Parking is available at Byttorps IP with approximately 30 spaces. Bags can be left in a truck at the refreshment tent. Refreshments including CocaCola, pickles, sausage with bread, sandwiches, snacks, and UMARA sports drink are available at the lap point. After finishing at 16:00, chips are removed and medals are awarded along with hamburgers and water. The prize ceremony takes place around 16:45 in the clubhouse. The age limit is 17 years to participate in the half marathon and longer distances, including the 6-hour run. The event takes place around Byttorpssjön in Borås, and registration and results are available online. The event has a strong tradition and attracts runners from the entire region.
