Race description
Blood Run in Uddevalla is part of Sweden's largest sporting event aimed at raising awareness of the vital importance of blood donation. Here, you can walk, jog, or run 5 km or 10 km, either individually or in teams. The race is open to everyone and concludes with a communal picnic, creating a social and friendly atmosphere. There is also a fun race for children, the Little Blood Run. Welcome to participate in this important and joyful event!
Highlights
- Start at the pedestrian crossing north of the Museum Park grassy area, with routes following Kungsgatan eastward
- The 10 km course goes up Dynamitbacken and along the railway embankment by Bjursjön
- The 5 km course reaches its highest point at Norrskolan and passes through Bleket
Additional information
Registration can be done individually or in teams (3-5 participants). Team registration includes a picnic basket. There is a 40 SEK discount for blood donors. Late registration can be made on site at Museum Park from 4:00 PM on the day of the event. Payment can be made with wellness vouchers, Swish, email invoice, or e-invoice. The courses pass under the railway at Östra station and through the tunnel to Rimnersområdet. Organized in Uddevalla 2027, focusing on blood donation, health, and community. Participants can walk, jog, or run, and the event includes options for team registration and facilities such as changing rooms and parking.
