Participants can register individually or in teams, and the race concludes with a communal picnic for team participants. The Blood Run is a popular health activity that combines exercise with an important community engagement.
Highlights
- Two routes for adults: 5 km and 10 km, both approved by the Swedish Athletics Association
- The routes are counterclockwise with crossings over the Selångersån via Sporthallsbron (5 km) and Montörsvägsbron (10 km)
- The Little Blood Run has routes of 600 m and 1600 m in the harbor area near the arena
Additional information
Registration can be done individually or in teams of 3-5 people. Team participants can run different distances, and a picnic bag for 5 people is included in the team fee. Blood donors receive a 40 SEK discount per person. The walking class allows participants with poles, strollers, and well-behaved dogs on a short leash. Late registration for individual participants is possible on race day from 15:30 with an increased fee. The routes are approved by the Swedish Athletics Association and go counterclockwise with crossings over the Selångersån. The race takes place at Ungdomsfältet in South Harbor, with options for team and individual categories. Part of the registration fee goes to blood donation activities and local sports initiatives.
