Blodomloppet Stockholm

Blodomloppet Stockholm is a festive community race held to highlight the need for blood donation. The event offers 5 km and 10 km distances for runners and walkers, as well as Lilla Blodomloppet for children, and traditionally ends with a picnic. Timed race categories are available, with prizes for the three fastest runners. Everyone is welcome—run, jog or walk for an important cause.

A team consists of 5 people (at least 3 names are required at registration), and team registration must be completed by 28 May; team registration includes a picnic bag. Extra picnic bags cost SEK 250 and can be added until 28 May. Blood donors receive a SEK 40 discount (state this at registration) and a blood donor gift is distributed at the GeBlod tent; remote participants receive an ICA gift card (SEK 250) instead of a picnic bag. Invoice payment is available only for orders over SEK 1,500. Walking poles are allowed only in walking categories; strollers are not allowed during the race but are welcome in the event area. Venue at Djurgårdsbrunn; the start corral opens approximately 20 minutes before the start; the walking category is untimed; no access to changing rooms or showers; blood donors receive a registration discount (SEK 40).
