Race description
Backyard Ultra takes place on a marked loop course measuring 6706 meters, and each participant has one hour to complete a lap. A new start occurs at the top of every hour, and as long as you can complete the lap within an hour, you remain in the competition. The winner is determined by who can endure the longest and ultimately gets to run a solitary final lap! It’s a fun race and concept with a very family-friendly atmosphere and camaraderie, where many participants set their personal distance records! It is now confirmed that MJM CHALLENGE is one of 5 Backyard Ultras in Sweden that has received a "Silver Ticket." A "Silver Ticket" means that YOU can run for a chance to be part of the Swedish national team at the Backyard World Championships in 2026. The qualifying period is from August 15, 2025, to August 15, 2026.
