Åhus TrailRun

Åhus TrailRun is a trail race through the coastal forests and along the sea south of Åhus in Skåne, organised by Pan-Kristianstad. The event offers distances of 17 km, 11 km, 6 km and 2.5 km, as well as a children’s race of approximately 350 m with a medal and no timing. The courses are gently undulating and feature a mix of trails, sand dunes, terrain and running on sand along the coast—participants are guaranteed a running experience beyond the ordinary. The race suits both competitive runners and recreational runners, and also includes team competitions. The participant cap is 1,000.

Participant cap: 1,000. Start times: 12:30 for 2.5 km and 6 km; 12:40 for 11 km and 17 km; children’s race starts individually from 13:00 to 15:00. Bib distribution from 10:45 (collect your bib at least one hour before your start). Time limit: the finish closes 2 hours 50 minutes after the 17 km start (at 15:30); the final 6 km lap must be started at least 60 minutes before the finish closes. Venue: Strandridaregården in Friseboda; parking is limited and parking is permitted only as directed by officials (carpooling tips are available via the race’s Facebook group). Bag storage is available for a fee (20 kr, cash or Swish). Children’s race with a medal and no entry fee; online registration closes on the Wednesday before the race; late registration is available at the start and finish area; bibs must be collected by 10:45; parking near the venue is limited; refreshments are available at all stations; electronic timing, with times available online.
