Å-stadsloppet

Å-stadsloppet is a road race in Örebro that showcases the city at its best along the Svartån. On 10 October 2026, participants can choose from 21.1 km, 10 km, 5 km and the Ullmax KidsRun for children. The race is organised by KFUM Örebro Friidrott, with the start and race services at Tybblelundshallen. Information is updated regularly on the organiser’s Facebook page. The race courses are officially measured, and the event is held in accordance with the rules of the Swedish Athletics Association.

Race numbers are distributed on race day at Tybblelundshallen (no ID is required, and you can collect them for multiple participants). Timing uses transponders attached to the foot or ankle, which must be returned at the finish or if you withdraw; a lost transponder is charged at 400 kr. Some participants receive disposable chips attached to their race numbers, which do not need to be returned. Changing facilities and valuables drop-off are available at Tybblelundshallen. Water stations, toilets and medical assistance are available along the course; water and sports drinks are provided on the 10 km and 21.1 km courses and at the finish. Parents may run with their child in the KidsRun at no charge. Half-marathon participants must turn 17 during the year; there is no age limit for the 5 km or 10 km.
