Race description

All information on this page is based on open source data. We do our best to keep it updated but cannot guarantee that everything is correct. If you see any inaccuracies, contact us and we will correct it as soon as possible.

The 6 Lakes Race is an environmentally friendly event where we avoid single-use cups and instead encourage participants to bring their own bottle or mug, or to receive a free reusable mug, a Hydrapouch. The course is largely the same as in previous years, featuring the same lakes and distances, which is appreciated by the participants. The start and finish are at Fjällnora Outdoor Center, Uppsala, and we offer a free direct bus from Uppsala that runs on fossil-free fuel. Participants can choose between distances of 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, and 42 km.

Highlights

  • The race is environmentally friendly, which means we avoid single-use cups.
  • As in previous years, we offer a free direct bus from Uppsala, which runs on fossil-free fuel, of course.
  • You can choose any distance – 5, 10, 21, or 42 km – and celebrate your finish with a well-deserved dip in the lake!
